For the past few days I've been wondering why I'm so addicted to new phones and new technologies. Why I change cellphones every year and why it's so important to have stuff we don't need, payed with money we don't have to do stuff we didn't care about up to this point.
My conclusion is fairly accurate, albeit somewhat poetic:
We're victims of an evil force called MARKETING,
sister to another evil being called PROPAGANDA,
both offspring to a demon called CAPITALISM,
product of a dude called Satan. XD
Seriously, there's no fighting the media if you intend to live in this world with your eyes open, and inevitably you fall prey to the need for stuff you can't afford, so that we can fuel the machine that moves the little green beast of Greed inside the rich and powerful. It's such a strong mechanics that the so-called rich and powerful are getting even more so with each passing day, whilst the masses get poorer and poorer.
That's the same with the need to wear the latest fashion and be in tip-top shape. Sometimes I feel that if people really knew the truth behind TV and the whole media embodyment, there would be an uprising.

And that should be happening on the 31st of February! Dapressing, isn't it?
